"An Uncommon Grace" - A Blog on Art, Music, Literature, Film, and Everyday Life
"An Uncommon Grace" exploring the truth of God's Grace through Art, Music, Literature, Film and Everyday Life
In February 2008, WRF member Rev. Darian G. Burns created the blog "An Uncommon Grace" which seeks to reflect upon God's grace towards us and how that grace can be communicated through music, art, literature, film and everyday life. In addition to the primary purpose, "An Uncommon Grace" includes a section of Burns' work (Darian's Poems and Songs), and the other sections are on inspiring Christians (Great Lives), inspiring tomes (Great Books), Darian's current reading list, and even inspiring movies. When "Blog Search Engine" named "An Uncommon Grace" as its blog of the week back in March, it described the content as "worth coming back to again and again". One reader commented concerning "Blog Search Engine's" choice by writing, "Great sight! It takes the doctrine of grace and applies it to real life in profound and moving ways. "Cash Got Grace" is well written and insightful. "God's Mercy & Micah's Touch" moved me in a way that I have not been in a long time. People should support this blog and give it their attention." In the side column of the site "An Uncommon Grace" provides recommended links under headings such as "Christ and Culture", "Great Music" and "Christ's Bride", which provides a link to WRF.
