Report on the 2013 Meeting of the WRF Board of Directors

The link above will take you to a summary of the primary actions taken by the Board of Directors at our meeting in Potchefstroom, South Africa, from October 21 through October 24, 2013.

In addition to these formal actions, fascinating and encouraging reports on our present initiatives were provided by our Commissions and by our Regional Boards.  Most encouraging of all were the following: 1) reports on our five publications during the past year (two full-length books and three minibooks); 2) reports on our Islam and Human Trafficking Initiatives; 3) reports from our Latin American, African, European and Asian regional boards and 4) reports on our relationships with several other evangelical organizations (the Lausanne Movement, the Gospel Coalition, the World Evangelical Alliance, the Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians, etc.

Please take special note of the date and place of our next General Assembly (and plan to be there!).

Please also consider making a contribution to the WRF if you believe that what you see in this report and on this website warrants your support.  Once again, at this Board meeting, we considered moving to a system which would require members to pay dues.  And once again, we determined not to make such a move because of the burden that would place on many of our members in the Majority World.  They have so much other than finances to contribute to our work.  But our work does require finances so we urge those who can contribute financially to do so - perhaps right through this website.  If the half of our members who likely could afford to do so were to arrange for a $20. automatic contribution to come to the WRF each month,  that, by itself, would cover almost half of our current operating budget.

Anyone who has further questions about any of these matters should contact our International Director, Dr. Samuel Logan, at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
