FREE Offer to Theological Colleges in the Developing World
WRF Member Haddington House Makes Preaching Materials Available [FREE] to Colleges in the Developing World
On August 8th and 9th in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Haddington House hosted its summer seminar on the theme “The Craft of Preaching.” The seminar leader was Rev. Al Breitkreuz, a Presbyterian Church in America minister doing post-graduate work at St. Andrews University, Scotland, in the interdisciplinary relationship between literature and theology. A portion of the seminar is now being prepared for publication and will appear in the Haddington House Journal in the spring of 2009. Past seminars on preaching are also available in the Journal and include Dr. Stuart Olyott’s “Boring Sermons - and How Not to Preach Them!” and “Self-Evaluation in Preaching.” The journals will be made available to colleges in the developing majority world for their libraries to help in theological education and to strengthen their ministries.
